2017 was a big one by any measure during Equilibrium's 22nd year of operations.

Amongst the many highlights was our move to new premises in King Street, after 16 years working from the historic Boans Warehouse in East Perth. The move to spacious, open-plan layout flooded with natural light, provides a perfect blend of working, collaboration and chill out spaces.

And of course, being located in the heart of the reinvigorated city-centre, surrounded by hip shops, cafes and bars, ensures access to a perfect balance of spaces to work, play and relax.

2017 was also a year that saw our talented team produce some amazing work, much of which has been recognised by our industry peers. Highlights included Campaign Brief's inaugural Digital Agency of the Year and Best Government website at the Australian Web Awards.

The momentum has seen Equilibrium continue to grow our team to expand both our skills base and capacity in recent months.

Amongst key hires were talented web developers Richard Lindon and Amit Joshi who were previously employed at Market Creations and Precedent respectively.

Ben Hiller, formerly of Be Media, commenced in the role of Digital Producer, whilst Annick Froget is thriving in her role as Account Co-ordinator.

To improve the agency finance function, we have employed Nadia Joshua Rancan as Finance Manager. Nadia is highly experienced working in digital agency finance and is working hard to streamline, automate and improve our financial processes.

The most recent addition to the team is Mark Scarparolo, Equilibrium's new Head of Design.

As one of Perth's most accomplished digital designers Mark has a proven track record producing work for complex, large-scale projects, and has already begun proactively reviewing all client sites to identify opportunities for usability and aesthetic improvement.

Whilst 2017 set a high benchmark, 2018 has already gotten off to a flying start with the appointment to major projects for Fremantle Port Authority, Brightwater Group and the Health Department of Western Australia.

It looks like 2018 will be another big year.

Bring it on!
